My mother-in-law gave us some awesome homemade gifts for Christmas. One of them was a curtain that she sewed and attached to a tension rod, along with a bag full of puppets. We can now put on puppet shows in any doorway in our house! The one my mil made is just a simple curtain, and it works great! However, if you want to make a fancier version, there are great tutorials all over the web, such as this and this.
We did puppet shows for our family night on Monday, and the boys LOVED it! We each took turns putting on a little "show" for everyone else, and it was so much fun. I think our doorway puppet theater is going to get a lot of use!

I just love this idea! So simple and fun but equally simple to pack away when not in use. What a clever gift!
